Moving music forward starts at the community level. Audiomack has partnered with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), which is dedicated to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of Black Americans, as well as its international affiliate chapters based in the Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, France, Botswana, Cameroon, Jamaica, and businesses as well as individuals who may have chosen to be direct members with the national office.
Audiomack will be contributing $10,000 to sponsor the donation of 200,000 KN95 masks to Black businesses within the NBCC network. Additionally, Audiomack is providing an advertising inventory grant to the NBCC to highlight these businesses across the platform.
“The partnership between the NBCC and Audiomack is both exciting and pivotal for our network of businesses,” says Charles H. DeBow, III, VP of Global Development and Programs at the NBCC. “We foresee a longstanding partnership with Audiomack, one where the future holds a stream of support for Black artists the NBCC and Audiomack view as robust entrepreneurs.”
“Audiomack and the NBCC share a vision of fostering economic development for Black entrepreneurs and communities,” adds Vanessa Wilkins, Director, Head of Music Data and Partnerships for Audiomack. “We are excited to highlight businesses in the Chamber’s network with advertising on the platform, and are honored to work with an organization focused on directing support and resources to Black businesses around the country and world.”
“While the first step in this partnership is focused on getting PPE into the hands of Black businesses, we are setting the foundation for a long-term partnership,” concludes Roby Mercharles, VP of Partnerships at The American Dream Fund. “In the coming months, we look forward to cultivating entrepreneurship in the Black community alongside Audiomack by providing educational training, exclusive business resources, and promotional opportunities.”
This partnership comes on the heels of a $5,000 donation to the Buju Banton foundation in Jamaica and is part of ongoing programming extending well beyond Audiomack’s celebration of Black History Month.
Ingredients for Success would like to extend its support of the Black business community by launching a virtual resource hub. The goal is to create a central destination for applicants to engage with the program
