Roby Mercharles is the VP of Partnerships at The American Dream (ADM) Fund & Marketplace, an economic development program created by the NBCC to support the growth and success of Black-owned businesses. Since launch, Roby has closed partnerships with innovative companies in tech, entertainment, media and consumer goods including Audiomack, Dell, and The Wall Street Journal. Roby has also onboarded over 3,000 Black businesses to the ADM platform and helped to establish many programs including the Investment Crowdfunding educational program aimed at enabling Black businesses to independently raise money from supporters around the world. At the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Roby manages the implementation of the digital strategy and sources new sponsorships to support the chamber's objectives. Roby’s expertise touches areas such as business consultation, software sales, fundraising strategy, brand marketing, and social media strategy.
